Paul says…

From an icy trek the week before, to a lake bathed in sunshine the previous evening, to this frosty morning over Lake Tasman – the weather had been unpredictable at best in Aoraki Mount Cook National Park. This stunning mirror-like glacial lake is constantly moving, changing, evolving, as new chunks of iceberg and glaciers drift downstream towards the crystal blue waters of Lake Pukaki in New Zealand’s South Island.

As the sun slowly rose above the horizon, far into the distance behind the mountain tops, a dusting of pink light slowly appeared across the wisps of cloud above, followed by a warm glow on the snow-covered mountains to the West. Pure magic to witness, and amazing to capture on camera.
