Commercial & Business Advice

Make the commercial decision as strong as the work behind it.

A capable photographer can still make the work difficult to buy. Proposals become crowded, prices arrive without enough context and business ideas absorb months before anybody asks whether the numbers deserve the effort.

These sessions apply practical commercial experience to one live outcome. Pitch Perfect strengthens a proposal before the client sees it. Strategy Sessions help you settle a substantial business decision before it consumes more time or money.

What is on the line?

Choose Pitch Perfect for a live proposal or treatment. Choose a Strategy Session when the question concerns the wider direction, offer or economics of the business.

01

Pitch Perfect

Sharpen your proposal. Strengthen your chances of winning the work.

A good portfolio does not rescue a weak proposal. Too much biography, vague deliverables or nervous pricing can make experienced work feel harder to commission than it should.

I will review the pitch from the client's side of the table, looking at relevance and commercial confidence alongside the work itself. You receive direct comments, suggested wording where it helps and a prioritised list of changes.

A 45-minute call settles the main decisions before you revise the document. Once those changes are made, one brief final check is included before the proposal leaves.

WHAT YOU RECEIVE

  • Review of one proposal or treatment up to 20 pages, together with the client brief.
  • Assessment of structure, positioning, deliverables, licensing and pricing presentation.
  • Direct comments and suggested wording for weak or unclear sections.
  • A 45-minute private call and one brief final check.

Strategy Sessions

Your key business decisions, properly examined.

Photography businesses rarely suffer from a shortage of possible directions. The difficult part is deciding which idea deserves attention and what it needs to return before the work begins.

Bring one substantial question about pricing, positioning or a new offer. I will review the context in advance, challenge the assumptions and help turn the discussion into a decision with practical next actions.

The standard session suits a defined decision that can be settled now. A three-session sequence gives you room to act, test the response and adjust the direction without drifting into an endless mentoring arrangement.

WHAT YOU RECEIVE

  • Review of your decision brief and up to five supporting documents or pages.
  • A prepared 90-minute private strategy session.
  • Commercial challenge, option testing and practical prioritisation.
  • A written decision summary with actions and measures.

£500 - single strategy session

One prepared 90-minute session and decision summary.

£1350 - three session sequence

Three prepared sessions to decide, test and refine.

After purchase, you will receive a brief asking for the decision, the relevant figures and the options currently under consideration. Purchase is subject to our Access Terms & Conditions(opens in new tab).

A useful answer should change the decision.

In business, the value often sits in experienced scrutiny that's applied before the proposal or investment becomes difficult to unwind. You leave knowing what I would do, why I would do it and what deserves attention first.
