Editing is a chain of decisions, and workflow is the system carrying those decisions from the card to the archive. Weakness in either place costs time and confidence every time another shoot lands on the desk.
These services range from live Capture One tuition to a complete edit of your own file. Print preparation and workflow design cover the less glamorous details that tend to become very expensive once they go wrong.

Capture One 2 One
Private, practical time inside the software the pro's use.
Capture One becomes far more useful once the tools connect to a real result. A generic tour of every panel rarely solves the masking, colour or tethering problem sitting in front of you today.
This 90-minute private session is built around your own files and priorities. We work live on screen, with the reasoning explained as each adjustment is made.
The recording is yours to revisit afterwards, supported by a concise note of the settings and ideas worth keeping. Beginners are welcome, and experienced users can use the same time to tackle a much narrower problem in depth.
WHAT YOU RECEIVE
- A short pre-session review of your priorities and up to three raw files.
- A private 90-minute screen-share in Capture One.
- Practical work on your own images, setup or tethering problem.
- A recording and concise follow-up note.

Full Image Edit
One raw file developed to a fine-art standard, ready to print.
Sometimes the fastest way to understand an image is to watch someone else solve it. Exposure and colour matter, yet the real result comes from how local decisions are balanced and when an adjustment is left alone.
I will develop one supplied raw file to a finished result and record the complete process. You receive the final image and the useful working material, together with the explanation behind the edit.
This works particularly well for a strong file that has resisted your usual approach or an important portfolio image that needs a confident finish. One round of modest refinements is included after you have seen the first result.
WHAT YOU RECEIVE
- Assessment and complete development of one principal raw file.
- Capture One editing with Photoshop finishing where the image requires it.
- A narrated recording of the full process.
- Finished master, web-ready JPEG and compatible working material.
£275 per image
Delivered within ten working days.
Complex compositing or extensive retouching can be identified and quoted before work begins. Purchase is subject to our Access Terms & Conditions(opens in new tab).

Print Ready
Your finished image, prepared for professional printing.
A file can look perfectly respectable on screen and lose its nerve in print. Output size, paper response and sharpening all affect the physical result, particularly once the dimensions become ambitious.
I will inspect the finished master and prepare it for one defined print specification. The delivered file is sized, sharpened and converted for the nominated printer or lab, with a short note explaining the output choices.
The service suits exhibition work, a limited edition or any important print where another round of hopeful exporting feels like a poor use of paper and money.
WHAT YOU RECEIVE
- Inspection of the final master at 100 percent.
- Sizing and output sharpening for the agreed dimensions and process.
- Colour-space and profile preparation to the printer specification.
- A print-ready master and concise preparation note.
£175 first image
Delivered within seven working days.
£95 additional matched image
For the same approximate dimensions, paper and printer.
Supply the final master, exact size and chosen printer or lab spec after purchase. Purchase is subject to our Access Terms & Conditions(opens in new tab).

Work:Flow
Rebuild the route from card to archive around how you actually work.
A weak workflow wastes time in small, repeatable ways. Files land in different places, versions multiply and backup exists as a comforting theory until something fails.
I will examine your current route from import through selection, editing and delivery, then design a structure around your actual volume and equipment. We test the revised system together using a representative job.
You receive a written workflow map and an implementation order you can follow without turning the studio upside down in one heroic afternoon. A short check-in after you have used the system is included.
WHAT YOU RECEIVE
- Audit of import, naming, folders, sessions or catalogues, exports and archive.
- Review of backup responsibilities and obvious single points of failure.
- A 90-minute screen-share to build and test the revised structure.
- A written workflow map plus one 20-minute check-in within 30 days.

Initial plan and session within ten working days.
The service covers workflow design and guided implementation. Large file migrations or data recovery require specialist technical support. Purchase is subject to our Access Terms & Conditions(opens in new tab).
Your tools should support your photography.
You leave with a stronger result and a clearer understanding of how it was reached. Where the problem is systemic, the answer becomes a workflow you can keep using when the next job gets busy.
