Every now and then you stop by a little town to find an unexpected gem of a scene right in front of you. This was no exception – I stopped by Morro Bay for a bite to eat on our way somewhere else and found the sun was about to set at the end of an old wooden pier.
Sometimes referred to as ‘the Gibraltar of the Pacific’, the perfect seaside town’s obvious feature is the huge rock formation which stands tall above the horizon, on the edge of the harbour.
Obviously the pier is a popular place for people to stand and watch the sunset – luckily the people of Morro Bay were so accommodating they actually gave me a protected 2 minute slot to photograph what I wanted before they headed down to watch another day come to an end. Thanks guys!
