Whether it’s for a professional model portfolio, a personal set of portrait images or something special for your partner – Paul can capture you in images that will be unique to you. Starting at under £150, we have a wide range of options when it comes to personal photography just like the ones you’ve seen in his portfolio, either in the studio or “on location”, delivered by one of the best professionals in the industry. First things first, though – let’s be clear on what you’re getting for your money, and why a shoot with Paul is different from most other studios in the country…
Paul only shoots ONE client at a time.
That means you (and, if applicable, your partner) will be the ONLY client in the entire studio during your photo session. What you’d be surprised to know is that while many studios claim to cater for “only one client at a time” – what that actually means is around an hour of actual shooting time, with a queue of waiting clients in another area of the studio. Paul doesn’t think that’s right, and will never operate in that way. It’s also ONLY Paul that will be shooting you – not just the next photographer in line.
All photography sessions include a make-up artist/stylist.
A trained professional will be on-hand throughout to offer guidance and styling tips, as well as apply make-up to create different looks during the session. Working closely with Paul and yourself, they’ll help to make you look stunning in every shot.
You can choose where you want to shoot.
Paul has a studio in London, as well as in Southampton – and can also shoot on location. Actually, many of the photographs you see around this site were shot outside of a studio, bringing a very different (and natural) feel to your images. Within reason, Paul can shoot wherever you want, but also has a few “secret locations” up his sleeve for those unique shots you might want to capture. During longer sessions, it’s possible to cover both studio and location during the same photo shoot.
How time is spent is up to you.
You want 500 outfit changes? You’ve got it. (You’d better be quick at changing!) Want to shoot outdoors as well as inside? No problem. Want to spend half of your time in make-up creating a look that’s truly amazing? That’s not a problem either. How you spend your time with Paul is entirely up to you. Obviously, there are some natural constraints – but there are no preset timetables here.
You’ll be discussing your shoot directly with Paul well before the day.
We hear a lot from customers who are unsure of what to bring, styles of images, or even those who just want to brush aside any pre-shoot nerves they may have. For that reason, when you book a shoot with Paul, you get access to Paul in advance. There’s no point in wasting your time during your actual session discussing outfits you could have brought along, or worrying about styles you want to capture in your photographs – and for that reason, once you’ve booked a shoot with Paul you get direct access to him to discuss these things in advance.
Your photo shoot doesn’t end when you leave the studio.
You’ve paid for photographs – not just the shoot. Although Paul will discuss the images he’s capturing with you during the day, he also wants you to be able to review the whole set of images in your own time and select those you want professionally retouched and returned. All finished images are retouched to a magazine quality standard, and provided to you electronically (or in print, if you’d prefer) with the rights to reproduce them for personal use in whatever way you want.
