Not only does excessive or inappropriate use of photo enhancement/manipulation/tweaking/whatever(!!) ruin what can be a great photograph in it,s own right, it creates that false image of perfection that the models of tomorrow feel they have to meet naturally, and that's a direction we shouldn't be taking. OK, bring up the saturation a tad on a sunset, clone out that pesky bit of litter from a landscape (unless you want a social commentary) or remove that big pimple from the blushing brides' nose but using it to make someone appear skinny is, IMHO, wrong, plain and simple.
